One Quarter Down, Three to Go!

Today marks the end of 1st Quarter here at ISD! Next week, watch for a post that indicates final grades are ready to view in Skyward and take some time to discuss these grades with your student. Also, spend some time helping them set goals for second quarter. 25% of the school year may be over, but there is still so much to be accomplished in the classroom and beyond!

Speaking of accomplishments . . .
Today was also a day for celebration in our school community as we did a "clap out" at the end of the school day for Celine Kuhn who will be representing ISD in the IESA State Cross Country meet tomorrow morning! What a feat to make it to this next level of competition! Good luck to Celine and thank you to everyone who gathered to show their support!

Here is a look ahead at what next week will bring as we kick off second quarter!
  1. Watch for an email from one of our office coordinators (Penelope Hinders and Amy McCormack) sharing your student's school picture file.
  2. Tuesday, October 21st several students will take a field trip to the St. Louis Kaplan Feldman Holocaust Museum led by Mrs. Grieme.
  3. Thursday, October 23rd will be Mobile Library (postponed from October 16th). Please remind students to return books they borrowed.
  4. Friday, October 24th is a "B" schedule. Students will be dismissed at 2:15 p.m.

Please also remember to send in $5 for the Market Six Pumpkin Patch trip! Money is due by 3:00 on Tuesday, October 28th.

Wishing you well!
